2. Objective of the Event
The Electronics and Communication Engineering is started in the year of 1987 which is one of the
oldest department in the college under University of Madras. Then the department is affiliated to
Periyar University from 1998 to 2001 and affiliated to Anna University from 2002 to 2004. In the
year 2004 onwards it came under Vinayaka Missions University, Salem. It has excellent
infrastructure and dedicated team of staff to cater the needs of the students’ community. The
department is fully equipped with a novel digital board to handle classes and entire campus has
been connected with Wi-Fi. National level Symposiums, Workshops, Conferences, Exhibitions and
Refresher courses for non teaching are conducted every year to expose their talents and update their
knowledge. Our department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all disciplines of
Engineering and Technology.
