St. Joseph Educational Trust was founded in 1992 by a group of like minded Philanthrophists with a mission to develop Educational Institutions to provide quality education from Primary level to University level.

In pursuit of the above vision, St. Peter's Engineering College was established in 1993 with the objectives.

To provide for instruction and training in Engineering, Technology, Management, Computer Science etc. To provide for research, advancement and dissemination of knowledge.

The Trust is now Chaired by Dr.Mrs.T.Bhanumathi, leading gynaecologist. With her guiding light, the institution is growing day by day.
