Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of Vivekanandha College of Engineering for Women will be Organizing AICTE Sponsored Two Week Faculty Development Programme on on “Computational Energy Management in Smart Grid” during 20th November 2017 to 3rd December 2017.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

This Faculty Development Programme aims to facilitate by disseminating cutting-edge research spanning multiple disciplines. Participants will be able tolearn perspectives and the newest findings from research and ongoing projects relevant to smart grid. This will include a variety of smart grid applications and technologies, such as smart metering, demand side management, renewable energy integration, advanced control, communication, and computing technologies. Focalizing to the interests of our scientific community, this Faculty Development Programme wants to explore the new frontiers and challenges within the Computational Intelligence research area, for the optimal usage and management of energy resources in Smart Grid scenarios. Indeed, the recent adoption of distributed sensor networks in many grid contexts enabled the availability of data to be used to develop suitable expert systems with the aim of supporting the humans in dealing with the complex problems in grid management, from multiple applicative perspectives. The teaching faculty members working in AICTE approved institution are eligible to attend the programme.

Accommodation will be provided for external participants in the college premises at students Hostel on demand.

There is No Registration Fee for theTeaching Faculty Members working in AICTE approved institution.The selection will be based on first come first serve basis.Completed registration form should be sent to us through E-mail: on or before 10th November,2017
