Eligiblity
A bachelor's degree holders in Engineering/technology/architecture/pharmacy(4 years after 10+2) and those who are in the final or pre-final year of such programmes Master's degree holders in any branch of Science/mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre-final year os such programmes. Candidates in the second or higher year of the four-year integrated Master's degree programme(Post-B.Sc) in Engineering/ Technology or in the third or higher year of five-year integrated Master's degree programme and dual degree programme in engineering technology candidates with qualifications obtained through examinations conducted by professional societies recognised by UPSC/AICTE(e.g AMIE) as equivalent to B,E/B.Tech. Duration of exam:3hrs.

JEE

Admission for B.Tech,B.Arch.
Eligiblity
Candidates who have secured 60% (5% relaxation for SC/ST/PD) marks in aggregate in their respective board examination are eligible for the test. The JEE will be a single objective type examination which will test the comprehension and analytical abilities of students.

AIEEE

Admission for B.Tech and B.Arch
Eligiblity
The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE 2009 for consideration of provisional admission.

PGEE

Admission for Post-Gruaduate and Ph.D
Eligiblity
All who have completed (or going to complete by July of this year) BSc (any branch with Mathamatics as a subject). Preferable with Honors/Major in Physics/Chemistry

Programmes of Study and Eligibility Requirements

B.Tech
Candidates who have passed the final examination under the 10+2 system or its equivalent (or) a pass in the three year diploma in Engineering and who have been placed in the final merit list in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). JEE is a must for foreign national students also.

ADMISSION TEST: Through GATE and Admission to PG programmes will be on the basis of the performance at the Post-Graduate And PhD Entrance Examination (PGEE) and an interview to be held at Hyderabad ELIGIBLITY:All who have completed (or going to completeby this year july) BE/BTech in Engg(any branch including CS/ ECE EE/Civil/ Inst./Biotech.) or B.Arch. or Master's degree in Science/ Maths/IT/ICT/Computer Science or MCA.

IIIT-Hyderabad Scholarships

Pratibha scholarship

There are merit-cum-means scholarships offered by the State Governments such as Pratibha Scholarship by the AP Government. These are available to IIIT students who come from AP and whose parent's annual income is within one lakh.

IIIT special financial assistance scheme (ISFAS)

ISFAS is available for needy students. This scheme has been made possible by the IIIT alumni and is available in the following forms:
Fellowships have been given to all MS/Ph.D students for a period of one year. Details of the support are:

Full Fellowship:

Includes both tuition support (Rs. 1,00,000 per annum) and a monthly stipend (Rs 3000/-).

Partial Fellowship:

Includes only the tuition support (Rs. 1,00,000 per annum).
Students of the research programmes have to decide on a research-area and adviser at the end of the first semester. Fellowships will come from the adviser after the first semester.

GATE Scholarships:

GATE Scholarships are applicable to eligible candidates admitted to the M.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, VLSI and Embedded Systems, BioInformatics, Computer Aided Structural Engineering and Computational Linguistics. The scholarships will be paid to eligible students whenever the amount is received from AICTE in future. However you must pay your tuition and other fees as detailed below at the time of joining. All students selected for M.Tech in CSIS will also get an amount equivalent to the GATE scholarship when the amount is received from MCIT but GATE score is not required. However you must pay your tuition and other fees as detailed below at the time of joining. · All M.Tech Computational Linguistics students will receive tuition support. If such students are GATE qualified they will receive Rs. 5000 per month from AICTE. If they are NOT GATE qualified, they will receive a stipend of Rs 3000 per month from IIIT after the first semester only. However you must pay all other fees as detailed below at the time of joining. · All Scholarship candidates have to work 10 hrs. per week either as Teaching Assistant or Research Assistant as per the policy of the institute.
