PSNA College of Engineering and Technology (PSNACET) is a premier institution in Tamil Nadu with International standards. It was established in 1984 at the outskirts of Dindigul as a response to the clarion call made by the public for a quality engineering institution in this part of South Tamil Nadu. This prestigious institution, at present, offers seven UG courses and eight PG courses in Engineering and also MCA and MBA.
All UG courses have been given accreditation -the highest recognition that AICTE-NBA awards to the standard, quality engineering institutions. PSNA College of Engineering & Technology was fittingly given the BharatiyaVidyaBhavan National Award for an Engineering College having Best overall performance for the year 2007, at the National level. The present campus is located in a serene sprawling 150 acres of land on the Dindigul - Palani National Highway - 209, 10 km from Dindigul town and has an academically ambient environment.
The college offers B.E Degree programmes in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology and Bio-Medical Engineering and Master degree programmes in Power Electronics & Drives, Applied Electronics, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer and Communication, VLSI Design, Remote Sensing, Engineering Design, Structural Engg., Master of Business Administration, and Master of Computer Applications.
PSNACET started admitting foreign students from 2002 onwards. At present, there are about 182 Foreign National students from six countries pursuing UG/PG programmes.

Department of Mechanical Engineering was started in the year 1984 with the intake of 60 students. At present Department of Mechanical Engineering offers 4 year B.E, degree course in Mechanical Engineering and a post graduate programme in Engineering Design.
Department is strengthened by 40 experienced faculty members including eight doctoral degree holders and twenty five faculty members are pursuing Ph.D degree.
Department has well- equipped modern laboratories in all allied areas of Mechanical Engineering Laboratories such as dynamics lab, CAD/CAM lab, metrology and measurement lab, thermal lab., mechatronics lab., welding and foundry lab are well equipped with more sophisticated equipments to provide the industrial environment to the students.
It has got many funded projects under various funded schemes such as MODROBs, RPS etc., The department has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi.

The campus is situated near the village Muthanampatti, about 10 kilometres from Dindigul, along the National Highway, NH 83 towards Palani

Introduction:
The International Conference on Future Trends in Engineering& Technology (ICFTET-2015) will be held during 7th & 8th April 2015 at PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, India. The conference aims to bring together experts from the academic, scientific and industrial communities to address new challenges, present their latest research findings, ideas, developments and perspective of the future directions in the field.
Objectives:
The two days international conference on Future Trends in Engineering & Technology (ICFTET 2015) endeavors to bring out the growing importance on recent trends in Engineering & Technology. It is expected that a significant number of experts / practicing engineers from various organizations, institute and industries will participate in this conference. Each paper is limited to 6 pages normally, additional pages will be charged. Please follow the paper in IEEE standard format in .doc form. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical. Articles submitted to the conference should meet this criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Regular papers:each paper must be no more than 6 pages (including the abstract,figures,tables and references).
Extra Pages: extra pages will be charged at Rs.500 Per page
Authors are requested to send the full paper in double column IEEE format (.doc)and also send the registration form through icftet2015@psnacet.edu.in
